RIG CNC - 3D printed VMC - Super Rigid 3D printed Granite CNC mill (From Scratch!)
In this video I briefly go over my scratch built opensource CNC mill. The RIGCNC (Reasonably Inexpensive Granite CNC) [less than $1500] I utilize a granite surface plate as well as a vertical steel upright to achieve a very rigid base to build upon. The rest of the mill is built with standard Openbuilds parts as well as ballscrews and linear rails for precision and rigidity.
