Your Minecraft World Has a Shadow
A psychological interpretation and theory of Minecraft lore using Carl Jung and his concept of the Shadow. In this video, I theorize about the Pale Garden, the Creaking, and the Endermen and how they contribute to how we feel while we play Minecraft. Why does this game feel so liminal, eerie, and beautiful all at once? I think it's stirring up something in us psychologically. The paintings are a custom resource pack I made using William Blake's painting The Good and Evil Angels. #minecraft #minecraftlore #cinematicminecraft 00:00 Intro 00:50 Look Closer 02:14 The Garden Awakens 03:24 The Shadow 05:40 The Opposite 07:58 The Task 08:15 The End?
