Part 4: Final torque sequence and turbo connection on the 2014/2015 Mercedes Sprinter 2.1L 4-cylinder diesel exhaust manifold. In this video I install the remaining nuts, carefully snug everything, then torque the manifold following the proper sequence: • 15 Nm starting in the middle, then rear to front • 30 Nm same pattern (middle first, then rear to front) • Turbo exhaust port bolts also torqued This is the critical final step that prevents leaks and broken studs on these high-mileage Sprinters. ✅ What’s covered: • Installing remaining nuts without dropping them • Proper snugging before torque • Exact torque sequence (15 Nm → 30 Nm) • Turbo exhaust flange bolts • Tips for tight spaces and long extensions Full series: Part 1: Removal & broken stud tips Part 2: Cleaning & stud installation Part 3: Manifold & gasket install Part 4: Torque sequence (this video) Always use a calibrated torque wrench in Newton meters for these jobs.
