Whitestar Aviation Torres Strait Air Program 2024

This unique cadet program sees students completing a Double Diploma of Aviation with the completion of training for their Commercial Pilot Licence conducted on Horn Island in Torres Strait Air’s Cessna 206 aircraft, flying company routes utilising scenario based training to ensure they are not only qualified but are genuinely industry ready. The Instrument Rating is then completed before you are checked to line and begin work, ready to amass that all needed experience on the C206 and then the Torres Strait Air 10 seat Britten-Norman Islander aircraft. The Double Diploma courses are completed over an 18-month period after which the Cadets will now be employed by Torres Strait Air for a period of up to 18 months based on Horn Island.
