Heatwave in Galicia: It’s Not Supposed to Be This Hot in Northern Spain

As fires burn across northern Spain, we want to address the impact of rising summer temperatures, more intense heatwaves, droughts, and increasing wildfires. Summers in “Green Spain” in the north are becoming hotter. Here's how we’re dealing (and not dealing) with the heat in a part of Spain that isn’t used to triple-digit heat, prolonged heatwaves, and wildfires.
