2019 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake #74 of 99 - Nicholas Mee & Co,

Offered to market for this first time, this sensational 2019 Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake, finished in the classic colour combination of (Q Special) Aston Martin Racing Green over Sahara Tan and Bitter Chocolate hides and presented in ‘as new’ condition, as befits the mileage of just 240 miles from new. Unveiled to great acclaim at the prestigious Monterey Car Week in August 2017, the Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake was the then latest creation from the long-standing partnership with the Italian design-house, Zagato and which completed the quartet of Vanquish Zagato’s, alongside the Coupe, Volante and Speedster models. The Vanquish Zagato Shooting brake production run was limited to just 99 cars worldwide, with 48 in right hand drive. Interestingly, this is the only example built in A M Racing Green. The Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake was based upon Aston Martin’s highly successful Vanquish S model that utilised their VH chassis architecture, mated with a 6.0 litre V12 engine, in this model tuned to produce 595bhp, capable of propelling the car to a 0-60mph time of 3.5sec. Bodied entirely in Carbon Fibre, the Vanquish Zagato incorporates many of the design houses signature styling cues such as the ‘double bubble’ roof and large front grille, built with the exquisite ‘Z’ pattern. At the rear, the bladed LED lights provide a futuristic look. Not only sublime to look at, the Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake is also sensational to drive, courtesy of; the most powerful engine available, the lighter weight, as a result of the extensive use of carbon fibre, the 8-speed Touchtronic III ZF gearbox, adaptive damping and incredible stopping power from its Carbon Ceramic brakes. The Shooting Brake is still a strict two-seater, but one conceived as an individual and exceptionally practical GT. The extended roof bears the iconic Zagato ‘double-bubble’ surfacing complete with glass inlays to let light flood into the cockpit. This particular example, #74 of 99, is specified with numerous optional extras including; dark anodised brake calipers, bright tailpipe finishers, full length herringbone fascia trim, ventilated front seats, One77 full leather steering wheel, body colour painted roof panels, bright side strakes, Multispoke Shooting Brake Satin Black diamond turned wheels and bright side window finishers. A full build specification is available on request. First registered by its sole owner in March 2019 and benefitting from annual servicing, to schedule, at Aston Martin Main agents, this car is in immaculate, as new condition throughout, protected by full car PPF from new, following a G-Techniq ceramic coating process and is supplied with all keys and owner’s manual, original umbrella and bespoke Aston Martin car cover. When considering an original purchase price of over £600,000 and given the depreciation curves followed by previous limited edition Zagato Aston Martin models, this car now represents superb value for what is likely to become a highly collectible and sought-after model, produced at the very end of the successful 1st generation of production at the Gaydon factory, before the introduction of the 2nd century Aston Martins. Available for viewing and demonstration now at our Hertfordshire showrooms.
