TCL L32S62T with a black screen? DON'T throw it away — try this backlight fix first! 99% of people assume a TV with no picture is dead and toss it in the trash. But often, the problem is just the BACKLIGHT — the LED strips behind the screen that light up the picture. And replacing them is much cheaper than buying a new TV! This TCL L32S62T 32-inch Smart TV came in with a dark, barely-visible screen. You could faintly see the image if you shined a flashlight on it — a classic sign of BACKLIGHT FAILURE. If your screen is physically CRACKED or the panel is broken (lines spreading from an impact point, black spider-web patterns), replacing the backlight will NOT help — that requires a panel replacement (often not economical). Always do the flashlight test first! If your TV screen is dark but you can see the image with a flashlight — DON'T throw it away! Backlight replacement is a common, affordable repair.
