This is a veteran former panda keeper at Adventure World. We spoke to him and learned that this was his goat debut. The goats are located near the Meerkats on the westernmost side of the petting zoo. While you can usually feed them, today they performed alongside the keeper. While the animal action challenge involves walking long distances across a very narrow bridge, this time they walked on a wide, short plank. There were many other performances, including one featuring a two-toed sloth, but we headed straight for the former panda keeper. I asked him about the difference between panda and goat fur. He said that the texture of the ragged, tattered part of a panda's buttocks is similar to that of goat fur. Since we couldn't keep the popular former panda keeper and the black spotted goat all to ourselves, we had to split up. By the way, Mee Mee is often seen munching on hedges, and this time she was munching on the hedges surrounding the hippopotamus exhibit as well.
