Japan:s Emperor Naruhito's enthronement parade with Empress Masako in Tokyo on November 10, 2019. They were driven in a Toyota hybrid Century Sedan which had then been converted for the occasion that drove at a slow pace of 10 kilometres per hour. There were 46 vehicles in the motorcade stretching some 400 meters. More than 100,000 well-wishers cheered, waved small flags and took photos from packed sidewalks. Naruhito succeeded his father, Akihito, on May 1, 2019 following his abdication and formally ascended the Chrysanthemum Throne in October 2019. /POOL/
