Maya Matlin - Degrassi Next Class | Hearing - Sleeping at Last | Scrap

I think trigger warning ⚠️ this includes overdose but that’s all really that I can think of as a trigger. I made this (phone) edit a while ago, I really related to Maya in season three, so I decided to make this. This edit is also a scrap because the audio is bad and there is some things I would change, but other than that I really like this and I worked really hard on it. The Explanation I Guess : Some of the audios are at lower volumes because the way I personally thought Maya was thinking, when she gets spaced out she’s distracted by bad thoughts and the people talking aren’t understanding/helping. Most of the higher volumes represent what caught Maya’s attention, what affected her in a bad way, and also what she was feeling. I highly recommend watching season three of Degrassi Next Class because of the way Maya’s depression is shown. Personally this season helped me figure out how to describe my feelings, which is usually hard for people with mental health issues. They also didn’t get very graphic like most shows do, which is very helpful if your triggers are what shows commonly use. If you are feeling this way please get help or try to talk to someone.
