GM Class II RDS Radio 12V Ignition Wiring

This video shows which wire you need to change over to reactivate the 12V Ignition Wire on these radios, this is necessary if you plan to install one of these radios in another application, another vehicle with no Class II Bus, or even just to use it on a bench on a power supply. I intentionally wired it to the older style GM plug, as it allows me to keep my power supply wiring and speaker wiring serape and allow me to plug in the older style radios, which I have a great many of. Again, I am not liable if you blow your radio up. These are all do at your own risk modifications. I have years of experience playing with these, and I know all the wiring by heart. Don't try and wire these up with out a wiring diagram! And do what I do from my power supply, I always have a fused link between my radio and power supply! ALWAYS! Safety first.
