iRacing Motec Tutorial: Aerobalance & Drag & Downforce Ep. 7
*UPDATE* "The motion ratio equation shown at 22:45 is not correct. After doing testing and comparing to real life MR values, these equations do not work in iRacing. I have tried almost 10 different methods of calculating MR and none of them work as I compare them to real life values of two cars which I have attained. So for now it is recommended that you place a 1 in the channel and just leave it as a constant number. This will not affect the usefulness of the data and will be the dame as what we do with the area of the car which we just leave the final result as a function of." In this episode we look at aerodynamics in Motec. We learn about the equations for lift and drag and we do some testing to learn more about the downforce levels on our racer and how setup changes affect them.
