There is a big house in the village. رجلٌ مشهور (Famous man) كان في القَريةِ رجلٌ مشهورٌ. There was a famous man in the village. أصنام (Idols) يَعبدُ الناسُ الأصنامَ. People worship idols. بَـاعَ - يَبِيعُ (Sells) الرجلُ يبيعُ الأصنامَ. The man sells idols. حِجارة (Stones) هذه الأصنامُ حِجارةٌ. These idols are stones. تكَلَّمَ - يَتَكَلَّمُ (Speak) الأصنامُ لا تتكلّمُ ولا تسمعُ. The idols do not speak or hear. سَـمِـعَ - يـسْـمعُ(Hear) الأصنامُ لا تتكلّمُ ولا تسمعُ. The idols do not speak or hear. ضَرَّ - يَضُرُّ(Harm) الأصنامُ لا تضرّ ولا تنفعُ. The idols neither harm nor benefit. تنفع (Benefit) الأصنامُ لا تضرّ ولا تنفعُ. The idols neither harm nor benefit. الذُباب (Flies) كان الذُبابُ يجلسُ عليها فلا تدفعُهُ.
