Description: In this video I discus how to adjust your CRT for clarity and alignment using the publication and a list of alternate equipment not called out in the book. We'll use frequencies and amplitude levels, provided in the book. If you don’t have the equipment below, acquire some that will put out the “Signal Required” listed after the asset below. If you are not a trained Electronics Technician I don’t recommend you do this procedure without a trained Electronics Technician with High Voltage experience overseeing you perform the procedure. Equipment used: Insulated Tektronix Oscilloscope Probe Tweaker, or a plastic insulated one. I do not recommend a metal tweaker, even if it’s insulated, due to the Lethal High Voltages present. Banana to BNC(f) Adapter. 36”(1m) RG-58 BNC(m) to BNC(m) 50 ohm cable. Fluke 5700A Calibrator………… Signal required: 50khz @ approx. 280 mv. HP 8642B Signal Generator….
