Why You SHOULD Visit DOVER In Kent!

I’m sure we’ve all heard of Dover because of the port right?  It’s probably the busiest international port in the UK, with international cruise lines and direct ferries to France.    However Dover is also renowned for the iconic White Cliffs which tower over the English Channel, visible for miles around. The coastal path is one of the most famous in the UK and as well as having spectacular views, the cliffs are historically significant, having been used for defence in both World Wars. It is a tourist destination like no other and a perfect day trip from London (just over an hour by train)   In this 4K walking tour vlog I am taking you from the top right down to the bottom!  On the way we’ll see views of the French coast in the distance, the South Foreland lighthouse, the Fan Bay Deep Shelter, the medieval fortress that is Dover Castle, the port, the Visitor Centre, the seafront and harbour area.  If you haven’t been already, this video shows you exactly why Dover is a great place to visit in Kent.   My name is Jack and I’m exploring the UK, making travel vlogs as I go.
