My Job as a Resident Assistant/RA (and How I Became One!)

So I have finally moved back into my dorm for the school year! I'm super excited because this means I can start thinking about hanging out with college friends again and decorating my room to the best of my abilities. In fact, you will be able to see it soon because I just recorded a tour of Renee Granville-Grossman today. Anyway, I'm more or less unpacked and tomorrow marks the start of RA training. I'm super curious to see if I know any underclassmen who are now RAs and I just never found out from them. In this video, I explain a little more about what it means to be an RA and what kind of commitment it requires of UChicago students who want to be paid to become one. It might also be useful to learn a bit more about how I became an RA in order to find out more of my motivations behind applying to this job.
