Issues with “New” OEM and Aftermarket Fuel Pumps
For those of us that like to diligently keep our old rides on the road, the current state of supply chain logistics may not favor us so well if our chariots are 15 or 20+ years out of production. Both the OEM and aftermarket part offerings are getting scarce and even those that remain have been sitting on the shelf for decades in environments that are not necessarily well controlled. In this video I go over likely common issues that can plague fuel pumps right out of the box as I try to restore my old ‘98 Contour. This is second part of fuel tank issues that I address when working on the rear undercarriage.
