Pixar Art Director Talks Journey Starting Out in Film
Bill Zahn is a veteran character artist, designer, and art director who has worked at Pixar Animation Studios for over 20 years. He recently served as the shading art director for the record-breaking film Inside Out 2 (2024). Before his tenure at Pixar, he worked on high-profile live-action blockbusters, contributing to visual effects and model work for films such as Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Men in Black, and the Star Wars prequels, as well as the famous Budweiser frog commercials.
