The Injury I Ignored (And What Fixed It)
Two years ago I damaged my Achilles tendon on a walk and then, very classically, made it worse by not dealing with it properly. By last summer I could barely walk 50 yards. This is the story of what eventually helped — and it wasn't what I expected. I'm sharing this because the connection between chronic pain, anxiety, and the brain is something I really wish I'd known about earlier. I'm not a medic and this is only my experience.
