It is the largest coastal lagoon in India and the second largest coastal lagoon in the world.It is the largest wintering ground for migratory birds on the Indian sub-continent. The lake is home to a number of threatened species of plants and animals(Source: Wikipedia) For the local food experience, we went to CHILIKA DHABA.This is a famous dhaba in Barkul which is well-known among the foodies.It offers a variety of dishes which are prepared from the local catch of CHILIKA Lake.
