This type of lantern is called Yukimi-dōrō (雪見燈籠) or legged lantern. I am not using latex or silicone mold for this project so the umbrella is simplified with a low finial (crown/apex). The four-sided firebox is designed to house an LED bulb. This lantern is relatively small and can be placed indoors. In making this lantern, basic materials & simple tools are used.
