Native American student a Valley Vista HS works to change cap and gown policy
Valley Vista High School student Larissa Waln wants to represent her Wahpeton Sioux Tribe heritage by decorating her cap with traditional beads for graduation. The school says this is against policy and she is not allowed to decorate her cap or wear traditional regalia for the ceremony.
