[ID/MS/EN]National Anthem of Singapore and Indonesia, Majulah Singapura & Indonesia Raya.

Majulah Singapura (English: Onward Singapore; Chinese: 前进吧,新加坡; Tamil: முன்னேறட்டும் சிங்கப்பூர்) is the national anthem of Singapore. Composed by Zubir Said in 1958 as a theme song for official functions of the City Council of Singapore, the song was selected in 1959 as the island's anthem when it attained self-government. Upon full independence in 1965, Majulah Singapura was formally adopted as Singapore's national anthem. By law, the anthem must be sung with Malay lyrics, but there are authorised translations of the lyrics of the anthem in Singapore's three other official languages: English, Mandarin and Tamil. Indonesia Raya (English: Indonesia the Great) is the national anthem of Indonesia. It has been the national anthem since the proclamation of Indonesian independence on 17 August 1945. The song was introduced by its composer, Wage Rudolf Supratman, on 28 October 1928 during the Second Indonesian Youth Congress in Batavia. The song marked the birth of the all-archipelago nationalist movement in Indonesia that supported the idea of one single "Indonesia" as successor to the Dutch East Indies, rather than split into several colonies. The first stanza of "Indonesia Raya" was chosen as the national anthem when Indonesia proclaimed its independence on 17 August 1945. Jozef Cleber, a Dutch composer, created an arrangement of the tune for philharmonic orchestra in 1950, this arrangement is widely used. ================= ======== ============================================= A short video i made as a tribute for the relationship between the Republic of Singapore, and the Republic of Indonesia. Originally was going to be uploaded on August 9th 2020 (NDP) but i have to delay it. (totally not because i'm lazy) This is something new for me, so don't expect high quality stuff, this is somewhat experimental, prototype because i'm not used to uploading anthems like this. So keep that in mind lah. Feel free to give me a suggestion, critic, recommendation, etc. I do not own the content of this video, that includes audio as well.
