They were served individual beef Wellingtons, but inside the mushroom mixture was something deadly: death cap mushrooms, one of the most poisonous mushrooms in the world. Within days, Don, Gail, and Heather were dead, while Ian barely survived after weeks in the hospital. Erin claimed it was all a terrible accident, but investigators uncovered lies, suspicious behavior, a discarded food dehydrator, and evidence that would eventually lead to her conviction. 🕵 Taylor and Tara Jones — Wellington, Florida On May 4, 2024, Taylor and Tara Jones were outside their home in the quiet Black Diamond neighborhood of Wellington, Florida, while their children went about a normal Saturday afternoon. Within minutes, both parents would be shot to death in their front yard by their neighbor, Norman Scott. Investigators say the confrontation was completely unprovoked and centered around a one-sided dispute over a children’s basketball hoop and property line. Even more devastating, the couple’s two youngest children witnessed the attack.
