Oakland Raider Quarterback , Derek Carr, shares his story of redemption and how he and his wife Increased their faith in Christ, relying on Him to get them through contending with a life-threatening illness to their newborn child, Dallas. On his realization that he'd strayed: "God put His foot down on my throat and said, 'I've got special plans for you and you're screwing it up'" On how his faith got he and wife through the multiple surgeries: "Before he went into surgery they wheeled him out, we all grabbed hands and I prayed over him. I prayed for his strength and I praised God that we had even one day to spend with him." "If you only knew, I would go into the bathroom and cry my eyes out. You can be a real Christian, but, be dying inside, you know, because we're human" "That's how I know He's (God) with me, because I have a peace and a joy. I can't describe it, but, I have it and I know it's real."
