The reality of marathon training wit PCOS | Week 4

Right now I'm reading A Whole New World by Liz Braswell Each week, I’m showing up and focusing on four core goals: Hitting 8,000 steps a day Getting in 100g of protein Completing 3 runs per week Adding cross-training on off days If you’re trying to build discipline, balance life and fitness, or just see if someone can actually stick to a plan like this… you’re in the right place. Let’s do better — one week at a time. Be my friend on Peloton https://onepeloton.com/@JessBikes4Pollo Tiktok   / read2urdog   ___________________________ Welcome to Let’s Do Better! Last year, I ran a marathon. This year… I’m coming back for a better time. This isn’t a “perfect routine” or “aesthetic morning runs” kind of journey. This is what marathon training actually looks like when you have a full-time job, real responsibilities, and a dog recovering from knee surgery 🐕. Plus I've got other hobbies and friends I love too! I just wanted to share my journey as someone who works full time, has PCOS now known as PMOS (Piss me off syndrome, kidding) and life that also trains for a marathon. ------- 0:00 Week 4 Intro 0:55 Sunday Run 3:12 Monday Run 3:34 Kitchen chat - how I take the stress out of meal planning with PCOS 14:20 Tuesday cross train 15:13 Wednesday peloton ride 15:43 Thursday cross train 16:20 Friday Run 16:35 Saturday long run 17:45 End of week check in and chat about what its like for me to train with PCOS ------- #marathontraining #midsizedrunner #plussizerunner #running #pcos #fitness #fitnessjourney #pcostraining #marathontrainingworkingfulltime #realisticfitness #pmos #realisticfitness #womenrunner
