How It's Made: BMW E90 335i Modified Exhaust

With the popularity of our in-house modified E90 335i exhaust systems growing every day, we felt it was worth showing you exactly what takes place when we modify our exhaust systems. (show-more) Some of our customers want a little more growl and bite from their 335i, and the modified exhaust provides just that. Clean OEM look and finish, but with added bite and straight-through exhaust performance. Each system is carefully cut open to expose the interior structure. We then cut out both the small inner muffler and perforated plumbing and replace them with welded-in straight through by-pass pipes. We then pack the original OEM insulation back in the canisters (to prevent drone when cruising), fully seal and re weld the canisters shut, and re-paint them to prevent rust and provide long service life with a clean OEM look.
