The Local Play Plaza boasts 17 attractions that can be played cooperatively or competitively by up to four players, while the Playroom Plaza allows for online or wireless sessions with up to twelve players across six additional attractions. Additionally, the Camping Area houses a Toad Squad training camp where up to four players can complete challenges in familiar levels from the main game. Successful completions are rewarded with patches and increase the squad's rank, unlocking new, more difficult missions. Players also receive Bellabell Water, which can be used to unlock decorative items for the park. Meanwhile, the search for stolen Bellabell Flowers forms another part of the DLC: the seven Koopalings have stolen these flowers, leading to new encounters and battles against them.
