Kosmos Gecko Run Murmelbahn-Wettkampf @ Spielwarenmesse 25 – Kugelbahn XXL Set + Action Starter

In my penultimate video interview from the 2025 Toy Fair, Richard Schmising from Kosmos shows and explains two new sets of the “Gecko Run” marble run experiment kit. The “Action Starter” is a semi-automatic start-finish unit with two removable magazines for 5 marbles each. The new “Challenge XXL” competition play set contains two such action starters as well as many track and trick elements for the marble run competition between two children or adults. It is not always about the speed of the marbles in general, but rather about who builds the most complex track in a given time or who gets the most of their 5 marbles to the finish line. The flexibly constructed Gecko Run marble run system was first presented at the 2023 Toy Fair. It is based on adhesive pads with nano-small suction cups, flexible track elements, switches and a wide variety of other trick elements. The new competition play set is also manufactured entirely in Germany and is partly made of bio-based PE plastic. By the way, Gecko Run received the TOTY Award from “The Toy Association” as “Toy of the Year 2025” in March 2025.
