1980 Tudor Prince Oysterdate 90733: Is it a Rolex or is it better?

Desirable black dialed Prince Oysterdate in all stainless steel. Cool tool watch that wears like the Tudor Ranger. Dial and case in great shape. Tudor shield logo with silver indices. Scratches on case and bracelet. Bracelet has what appears to be original hollow stamped endlinks (fit perfectly; see pics) and original clasp (well pressed with logos and serial number), but with unstamped solid links (so custom?) as opposed to the expected folded and stamped links. Watch was purchased used with no box or papers and came as presented; the links don't detract and are actually a nice upgrade that makes watch seem more substantial and modern with very little stretch. The prominent acrylic crystal has a crack on its side (see pics) but doesn't affect function except possibly water resistance (not tested especially as it's vintage, though still has screw down case and crown). Magnifier works well. Watch runs, hacks, hand and self winds. Quickset date works. 28k bph sweep. Rolex logo on crown and back; Tudor shield on dial and clasp. Cheers!
