Prosecutor lectures defense over motion to play entire VP Duterte video | ABS-CBN News

Private prosecutor Atty. Amando Ligutan lectured a member of the defense panel for saying that an entire 2-hour video on VP Sara Duterte’s threat against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr, First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos and then Speaker Martin Romualdez should be played in its entirety during the impeach trial. “We don’t want to put the defense on the spot but that is a misreading of the rules,” Ligutan said after he proposed that only 2 minutes and 18 seconds of the video be played during the trial. He pointed out the defense can play the entire video when it is their turn to present evidence. The prosecution earlier said the 2-hour video was first aired in a livestream on Harry Roque's Facebook page.
