Hamza, Ali, and Ubaydah ibn al-Harith stood against Shaybah, Utbah, and Al-Walid; and the encounter ended with both swift victory and painful sacrifice. Ubaydah ibn al-Harith fell that day, bleeding severely, yet spent his final moments reciting poetry in defence of the Prophet ﷺ.
