Inspired by a combination of tragically true first-person testimonies, YUSSEF IS COMPLICATED follows the troubled tale of an Iraqi refugee, a war orphan struggling to deal with his new life at a local comprehensive school in the South of England. The short film stars Alex Lawther known from the Netflix's series "The End of the F***ing World" and Miranda Raison, known from films such as "Murder on the Orient Express" (2017) or "My Week with Marilyn" (2011).
