To test this, we visited tire manufacturer Schwalbe and compared the tubeless system, the innovative and exceptionally lightweight TPU inner tubes, and the classic butyl inner tubes on several test benches – under laboratory conditions. We tested rolling resistance, puncture protection, and susceptibility to pinch flats. The results weren't always as expected!
