Millions of years before civilization... survival wasn't enough. We needed to find a place to call home. In this episode of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, I take my entire clan on a dangerous journey to search for the perfect new settlement. Leaving our old home behind wasn't an easy decision, and every step into the unknown came with new dangers. We explored deep into the prehistoric jungle, searched for better locations, discovered new areas, and tried to build a safe future for our growing clan. Along the way I encountered deadly predators, including a Leopard and a Crocodile, and somehow managed to survive both attacks. While exploring even deeper into the jungle, I suffered injuries, recovered, and continued searching until I finally discovered a breathtaking waterfall valley that looked like the perfect place for our ancestors' first home. At one point I even planned to abandon my original settlement and recruit an entirely new clan, but after thinking it through, I decided to stay loyal to my first family and move them into our beautiful new home instead. This is only the beginning of our journey. In the next episode, we'll venture even deeper into the prehistoric world as we begin searching for the legendary Giant Father Tree, one of the biggest milestones in our evolution.
