Airplane Review: Cessna 170
Join me for a review of the Cessna 170 as I return from Nova Scotia to Ontario in this fantastic aircraft. The aircraft is a four seat all metal Cessna that is very similar to early 172 aircraft with the major difference being the conventional landing gear. A Contiental O-300 engine providing 145 Hp drives this aircraft along with its six cylinders providing a very sweet tone and smooth ride. It requires a little more skill than many aircraft to land and take-off but once airborne is a fantastic cross country machine.
