Natalie recommends painting the walls to add personality to a rental, and she opted for three shades to create flow in the small space. She replaced builder basic blinds with drapes for textural interest, and opted for customized big box furniture to serve as decor pieces as well as storage space. Her biggest piece of advice is to avoid buying tiny furniture for a small space — instead, play with scale to keep things interesting.
