❄️🚐 WE KEPT GOING! | STRANDED BY ICE, CLOSED INTERSTATES & A DETOUR THROUGH COLORADO | Part 2 of 3 After spending the night at a travel center during a fierce Wyoming snowstorm, we faced a tough decision… do we turn back, or push forward toward our dream destination, the Bonneville Salt Flats? In Part 2 of our epic family road trip, The GuatePino Family decides to keep moving despite strong wind advisories, snow-covered roads, and freezing temperatures. What we didn't realize was that the interstate ahead had turned into an ice rink! With an 80 mph speed limit but traffic crawling at only 25 mph, conditions quickly became dangerous. Then, the unthinkable happened… 🚨 The entire interstate was shut down! Forced off the highway, we were rerouted onto snow-covered back roads that hadn't even been plowed. In the middle of nowhere, we stopped at another truck stop and gas station, unsure of what to do next. After talking with locals and getting advice, we made another risky decision to drive a few miles through snowy conditions to the nearest Walmart. Thankfully, we made it safely! The kids finally got a chance to stretch their legs, run around, and we stocked up on food, supplies, and groceries before continuing our journey. Our adventure wasn't over yet… After hours of driving, multiple detours through Colorado and back into Wyoming, we finally crossed into Utah late at night and stopped at a gas station just one hour from our final destination.
