New Bridges in the Port Lands
In January 2024, new roads and bridges opened in the Port Lands. The Port Lands Flood Protection project is creating a new island by digging a new mouth for the Don River. The new island required new bridges to connect it to the rest of the city. This video looks back on how the family of iconic bridges came to be. Celebrate the opening of these bridges with us!
