#LIMBURG #FLOODING #YACHT In this vlog, you'll see, among other things, a report from my harbor friend Arie Leewis. He's on a boating holiday in Limburg with his wife and dog on their motor yacht, the Henrique. They experienced engine problems, preventing them from passing through the Maasbracht lock. In hindsight, this was fortunate, because otherwise they would have been in Maastricht, where things are currently very bad. They're not allowed to sail for the next few days and must remain moored in Maasbracht. In a short vlog, Arie shares what they're experiencing and what they've seen there. I wish Arie and his wife, and the other boaters in the area, much strength. You'll also see in this vlog that my father's boat, which he sold, is being lifted out of the water with a huge boat lift and loaded onto a truck for transport to Friesland. And I'll be preparing for the installation of the double glazing that I'm getting on my boat. It took a while for everything to be completed, but the long wait is worth it.
