How Liberalism Enables the Far-Right

Scrubbed the title and description of the the "F word" which, apparently, Youtube doesn't want us using. But we know what it is. In many parts of the world we're living it, seeing it rise, meanwhile the establishment is unable or unwilling to do anything about it. There is also a lack of grassroots organizing or a coherent leftist strategy to counter it. A part of the problem is, in my opinion, a lack of diagnosis of the origins of the problem, the structures and ideologies that make it possible. One of the major aspects of this is private property, a thing that, although rarely mentioned in most discussions, is central to the functioning of capitalism. So through a historical, theoretical and political lense, I look at private property as the through-line that connects liberalism and the "f-word", and presents an avenue for something different to emerge. -- -- Give me a small tip: https://ko-fi.com/aymanmak Join my Patreon:   / aymanmak   -- -- Previous Video Essays:    • A Clockwork Orange and the Myth of German ...      • Everything You Need To Know About The Druze      • Christian Zionism and the New Crusaders      • The Sudanese Revolution (and War)      • Where are the Arabs? A Historical View      • Zionism From the Standpoint of its Victims   -- -- Follow me on: Bluesky - https://bsky.app/profile/aymanmak.bsk...
