The man, identified as Kartinah's grandson, appeared flustered when asked where his grandmother was. Several residents were even hit by the perpetrator, who then fled east from the victim's house. Residents searching Kartinah's house were shocked to discover the body of a young woman in one of the rooms. Meanwhile, other residents were also shocked to discover Kartinah's body in a well.
