In this episode, we begin in Villavieja, a quiet colonial town that preserves the history of the ancient Valley of Sorrows, as the first explorers called it. Cobblestone streets, centuries-old houses, and a paleontological museum full of fossils remind us that this land, which seems arid today, was teeming with life millions of years ago. Then we begin our adventure through the two most iconic landscapes of the Tatacoa Desert: 🔴 Cuzco, with its reddish tones and surreal shapes, ⚪ The Gray Desert, which takes us to an almost lunar environment of serene beauty. But we don't stop there. We decided to go off the beaten path and explore the desert perimeter route, a rugged and little-known journey that offers unique views, breathtaking landscapes, and a deep connection with this land. Along the way, we discovered a fascinating place: La Tormenta Museum, a must-see that reveals another side of the desert.
