TS2021: Hartlepool - Nunthorpe | AP Class 158 Perkins

Back on DP Simulations North East England route for a drive along the Durham Coast Line & parts of the Tees Valley Line. Northern operates services hourly between Middlesbrough to Newcastle extending through to Carlisle/Hexham & Whitby/Nunthorpe. It is the later year of 2019 where it is all change for Tees Valley Line diagrams. With the class 142 Pacer buses reaching the end of their life with Northern, some former Neville Hill Depot based class 158's was transferred to Heaton depot to replace the Pacer buses on these diagrams. Also, Northern sent few extra class 156's transferred from Manchester areas. For this journey, we are given a treat to drive as we are in charge of 158816 Perkins between Hartlepool and Nunthorpe via Middlesbrough. Following real life timetable of train 2N08 (05:05) Carlisle to Nunthorpe service. We take over from Hartlepool.
