'A Lesson in Love' is presented in four chapters: Waiting, Meeting, Wedding and Betrayal. It follows a young girl's relationship from her first kiss and the thrill of blossoming love to the joy of love fulfilled. There is disappointment and anger when the relationship breaks up, leading to eventual acceptance, and even a glimpse of optimism about the possibility of future love.
