Being a Party Crasher

The plaintiff says she hired party space at the defendant’s hall for 200 people, but it was double-booked when she got there. Turns out the defendant didn’t have the authority to make the booking, so the plaintiff is suing for her deposit back. The defendant says the plaintiff’s budget was limited and he told her she could only book part of the room. He claims she signed a contract and he did nothing wrong. Case #24-142
