Once I started hiking, I enjoyed it so much that I got hooked. I was confident in my physical fitness and athletic ability, but after climbing a mountain, my knees were shaking after about an hour. For about a year, I would get so sore the day after hiking that I could barely walk, but now I rarely get sore muscles.
