It’s been a whirlwind here at DocWob HQ since the Telford Show, and we’re finally catching our breath to bring you an exciting episode on DocWob TV! Today, we're diving deep into the legendary 2003 Suzuki RM 250—the championship-winning bike of the incredible Mickael Pichon. With the workshop buzzing, I always pledge to tackle just four bike builds for VMXdN Foxhill, but here we are, already up to nine! We’re taking a nostalgic trip back to the Mickeal Pichon bike, exploring the intricate details of its factory suspension, which, by the way, will set you back a whopping $60K! As any factory mechanic will tell you, these bikes evolve week to week. I’ve never seen a bike roll out the same race after race, but we're dedicated to restoring this beauty to its former glory—just like it would have left the Slyvain Geboers workshop. Join us as we walk you through the part that had to be moved, thanks to Ricky Carmichael, and delve into the AMA rules governing what can and can’t be done on a race bike. We’ll uncover what makes this engine so unique and packed with electrics. Every component in this build is as factory as it gets.
