Darren Lawrence - far more than just the ultimate Moto Dad.

This guy! Darren Lawrence is a fascinating character. The former tradie from the Sunshine Coast in QLD Australia has brought his family back from the brink business wise and built the platform for his phenomenal kids Hunter and Jett to chase their dreams in the lucrative yet insanely competitive world of American Supercross and Motocross. It's literally the American dream. The more I talked with him the more I felt he reminded me of someone. Steve Irwin. Darren talks with the same passion about life, sport, community, family and business as Steve Irwin talked about wildlife. Interestingly, Darren's eldest Hunter dreamed of being a reptile expert at the then nearby Australia Zoo. You can't help but be drawn in by his passion. This man is at the centre of the Lawrence Brothers phenomenon. He'll openly tell you it's the raw talent and dedication of Hunter and Jett that has built the brothers into multi-millionaire elite athletes that are revered across the world. The reality is that it's an ecosystem. "Dazzy" is perpetual motion. He's revered by HRC as high up as the Honda family themselves in Japan. He brings A LOT to the table mechanically for HRC. His work ethic, his love of old cars and trucks, his passion and his global sense of business - and the value of his sons in the American sporting and entertainment - is remarkable. I'm so grateful for the time I got to spend with Darren, Hunter, Jett and Tate in the last two days.
