Sebatik Island is an area located on the border between Indonesia and Malaysia. Administratively, the island is controlled by two countries: the northern part of Sebatik is controlled by the Kingdom of Malaysia, and the southern part is controlled by the Republic of Indonesia. The separation of Sebatik Indonesia and Sebatik Malaysia uses the coordinates 4°10', in accordance with the London Convention of 1891, where the southern part of Sebatik was controlled by the Netherlands, and the northern part by the United Kingdom.
